Nantucket Cranberry Pie

Ingredients:
Step 1:
2 Cups raw Cranberries
Step 2:
½ Cup sugar
½ Cup pecans or walnuts - chopped
Step 3:
1 Cup sugar
¾ cup melted salted butter
1 cup flour
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs - beaten
Procedure:
Preheat oven to 325° F
Heavily grease a 10” pie pan.
- Wash and drain the Cranberries and spread out evenly in the pie pan.
- Sprinkle Sugar and Walnuts over the Cranberries.
- Mix the last five (5) ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Pour mixture over the stuff that is already in the pie pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean or if it starts looking too brown.
